Do you ever wonder if people are who they say they are? I mean we all like to think of ourselves as certain types of people and we all protray ourselves differently to the world based on how we want to be seen. But do you ever think that we all might be pretending? It's kind of bizarre. You might think you really know somebody but in reality you only know what they are letting you see of them. So why do we hide behind these masks? Is it to protect ourselves from what's out there.. or are we just afraid....

ReplyDeletei was just thinking about something similar, but more in a 'whole' sense, like...since everyone is just being how they want to appear, then what does that make of the world? a planet where everyone is pretending...it's all fake. nothing means anything type stuff.
